SIS goes 2-1 in first home meet

The SIS wrestling team has just finished up their fourth week of competition for the 2018-2019 season. 

Thursday (1/3): The SIS wrestling team had their first home meet of the year at Irondale, hosting Minneapolis Rosevelt, Andover, and Armstrong. The SIS wrestling team went 2-1 in their duals and improving their season dual record to 8-9.

Saturday (1/5): The SIS team then headed over to Tartan on Saturday for the last regular season individual tournament for the year. The team had multiple place winners and Nik Strasser was the lone finalist.

Highlight: Nik Strasser is our wrestler of the week for the second time this year. He went 5-1 on the week with recording 4 falls, 3 of which came in the duals on Thursday,

Outlook: The team comes back for 4 days of practice before heading over to Park Center on Friday (1/11) for a Triangular with Park Center and Cooper. They will then head up north on Saturday to Royalton where they will wrestle in 4 duals.
