Community Education Middle School Intramural Wrestling Program 

This program is designed for the beginning and intermediate wrestler. The focus will be on skill building, participation, teamwork and sportsmanship. Students will be taught Folk Style Wrestling, which is the style used by al high school and collegiate wrestling programs. Students will not be made to gain or lose weight!

The first week of wrestling will be free for those looking to explore what wrestling is all about.
Program Dates: November 5-December 21, 2007
Times: 2:45-3:50 pm (till 4:30 when practicing at Pike Lake) 

Beginning November 12, Highview and Edgewood teams will move over to Pike Lake for practices for the remainder of the season. Chippewa students will stay at Chippewa for the season. There will be 4 competitions during the season. Our matches will be Chippewa versus Edgwood/Highview and will run like a scrimmage. Students will be weighed in to determine whom they will wrestle and will be matched up accordingly.

Transportation to Pike Lake will be provided, parents must arrange for transportation after practice and games. Practices at Pike Lake will take place from 3-4:30. Headgear will be provided. Other wrestling equipment is recommended but not required.

Cost: $57 (for full season)

Must complete registration form even if coming just for the first free week.
